I asked around a lot and heard that kyb agx are my best bet for a cheaper but not quite ebay coil over quality ride, i went a head and ordered them and got the rear set for 200 bucks, good buy or bad buy for a new guy with an integra trying to get the car heading in the right direction?

You get what you pay for. I would not lower your car very much at all other wise they will probably blow out rather fast.

Why spend money on the same parts a third time? The roads here are not as forgiving as you may think. |

Well looks like I just might have blew that money, so what should I save my money for to get better ride quality and still be lowered?

Remember, when lowering and raising a vehicle through coilovers, you'll need to get an alignment. Most people generally will mess with camber....on the honda's Toe is the way to go. If you are still planning on slamming this thing again, consider a camber kit, some LCA's and mess with the Toe correction (which they also sell in aftermarket form from SPC)....specially if you are going beyond 2". Again, keep in mind the road conditions around here when you lower your car.....the slammed look will not help with the thousand dents to the oil pan you will get. |

when i owned my old del sol it was about 1.5 inches lower all the way around and it had kyb AGX's and they worked pretty good, i slammed the car then they rode like shit. Im talking from experience, don't "slam" your car on AGX's unless you want the feeling of riding on springs with no shocks. use what you have but consider raising your car a bit.

I wouldn't slam it, Those shocks are not desinged for it. You will have a puddle of oil underneath the back of your car and be like WTF?!?

Got the new rear shocks on today, found out it had ground effect coil overs on them already so put them on the new kybs and strapped them on, a lot better finally, except for plowing the streets for the city

Lol, yeah I was doing that in my old hatch when I had cut springs on it for the first month after I bought it. Anything over 4 or 5 inches my bumper would touch. I was scraping everywhere, until I got a coilover setup, and then had to get a new bumper haha.
Anyways... post up some pics __________________ 94 Si |

lol the pictures are a little decieving, theres a minor dent in the passanger side door that the glare hides and then the driver side rear quarter panel was backed into, thats why i got to get it to xclusive, then im going to change the paint from stock white to more of a pearl white, i'm thinking about going type r copy, or at least incorporating red in with the white.
