Default Anyone good with viper alarms?

Unlocked the doors yesterday, went to lock them...and nothing...tried it again and the only thing that happens is the remote beeps at me. Its not the battery because the lights come on...anyone know how to go about this. Thinking I'm probably just gonna take it to a shop if nobody knows how to work on alarms.
